AX Anywhere Sales covers the following Mobile Business Processes:

Customer visits
AX Anywhere – Sales offers sales representatives the opportunity to enter a Sales Order while visiting the customer, using an easy-to-use mobile device. Instead of filling in a paper order form and sending it to the office where it is entered into the central Dynamics AX system, your sales people enter the Sales Orders directly, real-time, into Dynamics AX. Of course, it is also possible to scan the barcodes of ordered items.

Over the Counter Sales
AX Anywhere – Sales can also be used for situations where your customers visit your warehouse to take out the goods they need; so-called “Over the Counter Sales”. Your sales representatives, or specialized warehouse workers, walk with the customer through the warehouse and scan and pick each item the customer needs. In the background, a sales order line is added in Dynamics AX automatically with each scan. When the customer is finished, the picking list and packing slip will be created automatically so the sales order is processed completely. Optionally, it is possible to create and print an invoice as well.

Trade Show Sales
AX Anywhere – Sales is a very good solution to enter sales orders at Trade Shows. Your sales representatives do not need to fill in paper order forms but can simply enter a sales order (manually or by scanning barcodes) using their mobile devices. The sales orders are available in Dynamics AX immediately for further processing in your warehouse.
When you sell items that are on the Trade Show, you can also automatically create picking lists and packing slips so the inventory is updated automatically.
